Khalid Al-Busaidi is an Omani photographer. He is an energetic, hardworking individual, passionate about photographic arts, and well versed in several formats. His years of experience as the Senior Photographer of the Royal Opera House Muscat, as well as his college studies at the Higher College of Technology and his Washington State University exchange program in Professional Photography, New Media, and Journalism have made him a well rounded photographer. He is also an easygoing quick learner, who works well in a team environment.
He has lectured many times on his photography career including at the Sultan Qaboos University, Higher College of Technology and Photographic Society of Oman.
Some of his work have been published in well-known magazines and publications, such as National Geographic, The New York Times, Forbes, BBC, GQ, Khaleejesque, Cologne Opera (Oper Köln), The National Abu Dhabi and Le Monde.
Khalid has had a solo art gallery of his photographs “Music Reflections” at the Opera Galleria in Muscat in 2015. The art gallery featured a collection of 45 photographs from different performances, such as Opera, Ballet, World Music and Famous Artists that have been hosted by the Royal Opera House Muscat. He also participated in different exhibits in Oman and abroad.
Apart of Royal Opera House, he also has had individual work with several agencies and corporations, the most highlighted ones are, Edelman, Majid Al Futtaim, Sultan Qaboos University, GUtech University, Mohsin Haider Darwish, Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas, HSBC, British Council, Bahwan Group, and Ooredoo.
